Therm-a-Rest Trail Scout is a lightweight, comfortable and compact self-inflating mattress, perfect if you are looking for a high quality first self-inflating mattress for your backpacking adventures in the outdoors!
The thickness is 2.5 cm and thanks to the use of an ultra-light, compressible closed cell foam wrapped in woven fabric, it is able to offer you the right balance between comfort, portability and isolation from the ground! With an R-value of 3.1 you can use it for your three-season adventures.
For inflation and deflation at your disposal there is the high-performance WingLock valve, which with an air flow rate three times higher than the classic valves is really quick and comfortable. It only takes a few breaths to make the foam expand and inflate the mattress in no time. To deflate it, simply open the valve and fold it back. Once emptied you can safely put it in its compression bag.
