SCARPA Furia Air is a climbing shoe, an absolute novelty on the market: very light and perfect for indoor climbing!

The upper is a bicomponent microfibre that not only gives the shoe a lightness (it weighs only 150 g!), It gives exceptional breathability. That's why it's perfect for training and competitions, you'll always have a dry and fresh foot.

Then, under the zone of the big toe, an alcantara insert has been inserted that increases the sensitivity to the support and also the comfort of fit.

To create this ultra-light liner, whose starting point is to have a real second skin on the foot without any air pockets inside, many materials and components have been removed or thinned compared to the other shoes on the market.

Precisely for this reason a different tensioning system has been studied compared to the now famous Dragon or Fury S. The tension present on the Furia Air, in fact, starts from the tip of the foot and covers a large area of the plantar arch instead of starting directly from the heel . Called DTS (Differentiated Tension System), it allows having a single element instead of two as in the other shoes mentioned above. It also allows you to tighten the shoe depending on the area of the foot, concentrating most of the power on the big toe.

In order to have a heel that is not the envy of anyone, a further PAF (Power Absorbing Fit) system has been studied: a second tension that right from the heel pushes the force towards the toes.

As for the midsole, on the other hand, it is very thin but, covering a larger area than its sister Furia S, it gives greater rigidity in the toe area, always and in any case speaking of an extremely soft and sensitive shoe, perfect for indoor bouldering: spreading the foot volumes will now be child's play!
