Scarpa F1 XT is a ski mountaineering boot designed for experienced skiers looking for a lightweight boot for technical ski mountaineering, perfect for big elevation gains.
The gaiter with Overlap Shield Tech technology allows for an easier fit and offers a homogenous closure across the instep avoiding pressure points and provides high insulation, and is easily adjustable thanks to the webbing and Velcro straps.
The hull has a special design, which improves lateral stability and offers torsional rigidity from heel to toe.
The hull closes via the Wave Lite Closure System technology, which gives an effective and customised closure on the foot without pressure points. It consists of a steel cable sheathed in a sheath and bound at 3 attachment points to the hull, it is tightened at will via a lever and a 4-tooth rake that adapts the closure to all foot types.
The upper Velcro fastener then guarantees the ideal shin wrap, precisely because it is easily adjustable.
The Tour LT2 liner offers a precise and adaptable fit for all feet thanks to its total thermoformability. The flex panels on the back and tongue allow for greater fa-cility when walking.
To get the most out of this boot Scarpa recommends thermoforming the liner at SCARPA's network of thermoformers.
