SCARPA F1 is a ski touring boot dedicated to all those who are looking for a versatile boot that is suitable for all scialp disciplines: it is perfect for both ascents and descents.
F1 is aimed at both beginners and more experienced riders, a comfortable, performing and light product.
Made of Pebax and Grilamid, it is extremely durable and long lasting. Pebax is a set of elastomers that give resistance to wear and to shock while the Grilamid is a fiber that best dampens the vibrations by passing them directly from the boot to the ski. This pulse transmission is also facilitated by the Carbon Cage Evo system, a carbon insert.
The inner liner is extremely snug and enveloping: Intuition is a thermoformable liner that is recommended to thermoform before use to increase performance.
The closure with Boa Fit System is very fast to adjust (each shot corresponds to 1 mm) and above all it wraps the foot perfectly.
The construction of the cuff is then X-shaped thanks to the X-Cage Evo construction. This stiffens the boot without increasing its weight and also greatly reduces twisting.
The F1 Lever rear system, then, allows you to go from ski mode to that walk in a super fast way. Moreover, with Friction Free, there are no connecting rods and it makes walking easier, making it much more fluid.
F1 is also equipped with the RECCO system present on the velcro buckle of the right boot, a localization system in the event of an avalanche accident. This system is not to be considered a substitute for the security system given by the ARTVA but is only a further security measure. With this in fact it is possible to reduce the finding time.
