Salomon MTN 86 PRO is a ski touring ski designed for ski lovers who always decide at the last minute whether to put on their skins for an intense ascent or speed downhill to conquer new spaces, the MTN 86 PRO by Salomon, with the At 86mm wide in the middle, it's the ideal ski wherever you want to go. It is made partly from recycled and natural materials.
Short turn: the imaginary circle created by the sidecut (radius) of the ski is < 15 m.
Medium turn: the imaginary circle created by the sidecut (radius) of the ski is between 15 m and 20 m.
Long turn: the imaginary circle created by the sidecut (radius) of the ski is > 20 m.
Touring Profile: The ski's medium camber offers good grip on groomed snow and icy gullies, while a rocker in the tip makes it easy to float on fresh snow and maneuver in all snow conditions.
Core entirely in poplar/karuba wood: the wood core is a mix of poplar and Karuba. Karuba wood guarantees lightness and inertia. Basalt fibres.
Cork Damplifier: Cork absorbs vibrations three times more than Koroyd. By using it in the tip of the ski you get a higher level of vibration absorption and cushioning, with an even lower weight.
