Salewa W's Wildfire Edge are women's approach shoes ideal for approaching alpine routes and tackling technical sections of trail.

In places where maximum precision and grip is required, you can use the Salewa Switchfit system to tackle short technical climbing sections. Designed in collaboration with mountain guides and professional climbers in the Dolomites, it is simple and smart: simply tighten the laces in the back loop and fasten them. In this way, you will push your foot forward towards the toe, compressing your toes as in climbing shoes. When you have finished climbing, loosen the laces in the rear loop to gain more space at the toe and greater comfort when hiking.

A plate is incorporated in the under toe area in addition to the climbing zone to increase rigidity, facilitating grip and precision in climbing sections.
