Petzl Ascension maniglia bloccante speleo, progettata per la risalita su corda, è utilizzabile a una o due mani. Il grande foro inferiore consente l'utilizzo contemporaneo di due moschettoni (uno per la longe e uno per il pedale); la maniglia ha un'impugnatura comoda anche se si indossano i guanti. La leva integrata nel corpo evita gli agganci involontari; il fermacorda è dentellato e ha una scanalatura che elimina le impurità e mantiene il bloccante in funzione anche se la corda è bagnata o sporca.
