La Sportiva TX5 Low GTX is an excellent approach shoe for climbing crags but also for via ferrata and light trekking.
The shoe has a durable and soft nubuck leather upper that increases the comfort of fit with a Gore-Tex membrane that guarantees complete waterproofing without taking away any points of breathability.
There are also side reinforcements that allow you to protect the foot from painful collisions with the rock and then extend the life of the shoe.
The lacing system derives from the iconic Mythos climbing shoe: it also passes along the entire rear upper in order to perfectly adjust the internal volumes.
As for the sole, on the other hand, you will find a Vibram Mega - Grip which, unlike its sister TX4, has Hiking-Oriented blocks with different thicknesses according to the support area so as to guarantee maximum braking on descents and traction on climbs.
