La Sportiva TX5 GTX Woman are waterproof women's hiking boots intended for female hikers with even very heavy backpacks.
With TX5 you will be able to venture out on any trail and hike without fear of either sore feet or wet feet: in fact, the soft Nubuck upper is covered with a Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane that guarantees complete waterproofing.
The foot is then protected by a protective border along the entire length of the shoe and an anti-shock toe cap.
The boot has a high collar above the ankle that not only protects it and keeps it more secure, but also prevents stones and mud from getting inside the shoe. Do not think, however, that being a high shoe your ankle is constrained inside: in fact, thanks to the 3d Flex technology there is a joint that makes it free in every movement.
The combination of an EVA foam midsole and stabilizing footbed and a 4mm Ortholite Approach insole makes the shoe extremely comfortable and suitable for even prolonged use.
The outsole, on the other hand, is a Vibram MegaGrip with Impact Brake System. The lugs therefore have a differentiated thickness depending on the support area so as to ensure excellent grip on the ascent and hold instead the descent, all perfect for all types of terrain!
