The La Sportiva Kubo are climbing shoes, a brand new release for the summer 2021 season! La Sportiva, after focusing on renewing and expanding its collection for more experienced climbers, has now introduced a completely new model that firmly places itself among the best intermediate shoes. Have you already worn out your first pair of shoes and are now looking for a slightly more advanced model without destroying your feet? Are you searching for a medium-soft shoe, comfortable enough to wear for long periods? Here’s the Kubo! Based on the idea of the iconic Katana, this shoe is slightly softer and features a three-quarter sole. No longer a full sole, which helps facilitate different moves increasingly common in modern climbing, such as smearing on volumes. To provide a highly versatile shoe, La Sportiva designed the Kubo with an intermediate stiffness, making it suitable for both outdoor and indoor climbing. The front part also features an additional layer of rubber on the upper, which facilitates toe hooking and increases the durability of the upper. This upper is made of soft microfiber to offer excellent fit comfort. However, not all of it is microfiber! In the insole area, there’s a small layer of leather to better absorb moisture and prevent uncomfortable slipping or twisting inside the shoe.
