La Sportiva Katana renewed version of one of the brand's historical models in 2023 with the inclusion of the famous P3 system to enhance performance and maintain the shape of the boot over time.
Starting with the most appealing design, the Katana is one of the most multi-purpose shoes on the market: with its double Velcro closure, it is comfortable both for bouldering and for multi-pitch routes. But it is also a great product for crags thanks to its precision at the toe and the support provided by the full sole.
The special upper with a mix of leather and synthetic fabric makes it more durable than the previous model.
The sole compound is the classic 4 mm thick Vibram XS Edge.
Inside, in correspondence of the toes, a special midsole with a prehensile zone so as to increase the sensitivity to the support.
