The HOKA Speedgoat 5 GTX is a trail running shoe designed for unsurpassed performance on technical trails and medium to long distances with a Gore-Tex membrane that is therefore completely waterproof.
In this, its fifth edition, it has been completely revamped, from the sole to the laces: the result is 15 grams less, a decidedly improved grip and numerous other details that increase comfort and performance.
The upper is made with a dynamic textile component that wraps around the toe and forefoot giving exceptional flexibility and comfort during pushing, adapting to the foot without constricting it even after running several kilometres. Refinements to the tongue give a more comfortable feel at the top of the foot, near the ankle where friction can occur.
The midsole compound is even lighter than before, providing HOKA's signature smooth running experience without reducing the height of the sole. This, combined with the double-layered jacquard mesh, provides excellent protection on any terrain. The outsole is Vibram Megagrip with Traction Lug for excellent traction everywhere and essential braking support on the most technical descents.
