The Atomic Backland 89 SL is a ski touring ski which is light and efficient on the ascent, but also reliable and stable with excellent floatation on the descent. It features a unique three-dimensional beveled tip which increases the surface area, improving floatation in powder and handling in variable snow conditions. The Carbon Backbone adds stiffness along the entire length of the ski, while the poplar/charcoal wood core keeps the ski light and agile. The All Mountain Rocker and a wider 89 mm profile allow maximum adaptability to any type of terrain.
