The Atomic Backland 85 W is a ski touring ski designed for adventurous women. It is a ski with a perfect balance of light weight, all-round ski touring functionality and downhill performance. The new low-impact design took a scientific approach to calculating and analysing the life cycle of the ski. The use of locally sourced poplar wood, less use of resin and fibreglass, and environmentally friendly sidewalls reduce CO2 emissions by 30%. With HRZN 3D, the next generation of the original HRZN Tech, this new construction includes a unique beveled tip that increases flotation in deep snow and manoeuvrability in variable snow conditions.
