The Atomic Backland 85 W is a ski touring ski designed for adventurous women. It is a ski with a perfect balance of light weight, all-round ski touring functionality and downhill performance. Born from a reinterpretation of the original Backland W structure, the new low-impact design took a scientific approach to calculating and analysing the life cycle of the ski. The use of locally sourced poplar wood, less use of resin and fibreglass, and environmentally friendly sidewalls reduce CO2 emissions by 30%. The revolutionary All-Terrain profile adds torsional stiffness with a new flex module for unrivalled downhill performance on any terrain and better control on the hardest snow surfaces. Featuring HRZN 3D, the next generation of the original HRZN Tech, this new construction includes a unique beveled toe box that increases flotation in powder and maneuverability in variable snow conditions.
