Arc'teryx Atom Hoody is a padded jacket for women, excellent to wear both as an outer layer and as a second layer under a shell.
Atom Hoody exploits the potential of synthetic fibers. In fact, thanks to the Coreloft padding, this jacket acquires excellent thermal capacities. On the sides and under the armpits, on the other hand, we find inserts in stretch fabric which increase comfort and help to increase the breathability of the garment and regulate the internal temperature during an effort.
Another point in favor of synthetic fibers is that they are permeable to air but not to wind. At the same time, however, these maintain their thermal capacity even when wet, which does not happen in natural feather duvets.
The outer fabric is in Nylon Tyono, an extremely light and compressible fabric. You will feel like you have a sleeping bag on you without feeling its weight.
The DWR treatment guarantees good water repellency to the garment.
Compress your jacket inside one of its pockets and put it inside your backpack, it will take up very little space. When you need it, it will take you just a few seconds to shake it for a moment and the game is done!
