SCARPA Ribelle Lite HD Woman is a technical boot designed for mountaineering, trekking, hiking on via ferrata and demanding backpacking even with heavy loads!
The upper is in a water-repellent technical fabric, the collar that wraps around the ankle is in an elastic fabric that guarantees high comfort, while the lining is waterproof. The system with which the upper is built is called Sock-Fit XT because the feeling you will have wearing these shoes will be the same as when a sock wraps your foot. In SCARPA use this solution to allow you to wear these boots for a long time without problems!
The external part has a protective edge in PU Tech to increase its resistance, while the internal part and the tip are protected by a rubber coating. The combination of this upper with the sole designed for this model guarantees you maximum precision, wrapping and comfort.
The sole is in fact designed by SCARPA and developed in collaboration with Vibram, the results are: limited volume, precise fit, speed, lightness and comfort. The tread is in Mont of Vibram compound, a certainty in terms of stability and durability. It is also compatible with semi-automatic crampons.
To further increase the performance of this boot there is the anatomical and structural polypropylene and glass fiber insole, with differentiated thicknesses, light and with different anti-torsion rigidity, for maximum stability and comfort.
The lacing is also studied and in fact uses the "Speed Lacing" system with bi-component small parts: the loops are made of plastic, while the strap locks and adjustment hooks are made of steel and plastic. The lacing reaches the tip and is differentiated into two parts. The lower one, with laces, allows a quick sliding of the lace and the adjustment of the fitting volumes in a single movement. The upper one instead has a lace lock that divides the areas of tension of the lacing and hooks for a homogeneous and progressive winding of the ankle, to obtain a comfortable fit without constrictions.
