Brushing holds, both in rock and the climbing gym, is fundamental. Apart from removing chalk, sweat, dust, shoe rubber, and even skin, brushing allows you to achieve a better grip of the holds. The cleaner and dryer a hold is, the more we send.
However, we have to be careful to not deteriorate the rock on which we climb; it deserves our respect. For this reason, we recommend using a brush specifically designed for this purpose. PUC Brush is lightweight, has been made with natural boar’s hair, and is made out of bamboo – the fastest growing woody material in the world.
