Idea Montagna 3000 of the Dolomites (4th ed.) trekking guide is a guidebook about the highest peaks of the Dolomites, which rise like isolated giants among the splendid Dolomite valleys and peaks of Trentino Alto Adige and Veneto. While some peaks are within the reach of every hiker, others constitute challenging alpine itineraries reserved for experienced hikers. The fourth edition contains further updates and corrections that some members of the 3000 Dolomites Group have provided to the authors, or from verifications they themselves have made in recent years. Some of the altitudes have been updated, not because the peaks have changed, but mainly thanks to the 4Land cartography, which uses more advanced and precise measuring technology. In addition, the list of peaks in order of altitude, found at the end of the book, also sees several changes compared to previous editions.
